The price is ‘Death’ >>

When it comes to matters of eternity, the biggest problem we will face is sin. This small three letter word has become widely unfashionable today, but that doesn’t mean it has  become irrelevant. Sin - which is basically defined as anything we do that is wrong and offends God - is the one single thing that can keep you out of heaven and estranged from God.

The bible is clear about sin when it says... “The wages of sin is death”.  In other words the price we have to pay for a single act of sin is death.  It literally costs us our very own lives and destroys our chances of eternity.

It’s at this point that we can understand why Jesus had to die for us. Jesus was perfect and sinless in every way and when He chose to die upon the cross, He wasn’t dying because of His own sin, He was dying to save us from our sin.
