The role of ‘Love’ >>
God has decided He’s not going to abandon us and leave us because we’ve been unable to make His perfect grade. God is good, and because He’s good He has decided to make a way for us to enjoy eternal security.
In an outrageous act of love for mankind, God sent His very own Son, Jesus Christ, to die for you and me. It didn’t matter to God that we did not deserve to be saved from our sin. He was determined to offer salvation and eternal life to every person who wanted it, regardless of how bad they’d been or how well they’d performed.
The fact that God sent Jesus to die for us whilst we were still sinners, demonstrates just how much God cares for people. Many of us have heard about Jesus having been brutally crucified but what we have failed to realise is that He was brutally crucified for you and me. The question is, “Why did Jesus have to die, in order for us to have eternal life?” Click [Next] and discover why Jesus died for you.
